Since 1989, Surgical Weight Control Center has performed more gastric band and gastric bypass surgeries than all other bariatric practices in Nevada combined helping individuals overcome their lifelong battle with being overweight, through surgical procedures. Our experienced doctors, Dr. Soong and Dr. Atkinson, have trained over 100 bariatric surgeons and have traveled across the country to assist surgeons performing their first weight loss surgeries. We have developed surgical techniques which are used in bariatric centers across the country and have received the designation of an Accredited Center by the METABOLIC AND BARIATRIC SURGERY ACCREDITATION AND QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM.
